If you’re in the market for a new Chevrolet, you may also be in for the experience of a lifetime.
Buyers selecting a special Daytona experience package will have their new car delivery in the legendary Daytona International Speedway.
Chevy is building a new “Delivery Center” inside of NASCAR’s most well-known and iconic racetrack. It will apparently have the familiar appearance of a “neighborhood Chevrolet dealership.” Pricing has yet to be announced.
The package includes a tour of the facility, a keepsake, and, most notably, some drive time on the famous tri-oval track. Chevy officials will then “authenticate” the car as having been delivered and driven at Daytona before sending the lucky buyer on their way.
The classic car, name-dropped in songs by Jay Z, Kid Rock and Mariah Carey to name a few, and has a reputation as an “All-American” car.
The exclusive delivery will only be available for certain models, says Chevy. However, it certainly gives NASCAR fans and auto fanatics in general a more exciting experience than heading to local car dealers.
Chevrolet already offers Corvette customers the option of having their cars delivered at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. That package, while not quite as glamorous as the pending Daytona one, includes a private tour of the GM Bowling Green Assembly Plant, the home of the Corvette, and the National Corvette Museum.
The Corvette package comes to around $990, so its not a far cry to assume that the Daytona package will come to around that amount.
