Thank you for your support of DailyInbox and our efforts to provide the Internet with wholesome, educational and inspirational newsletters. Unfortunately, spam, dwindling ad revenues and other problems have made things extremely difficult of late. We are committed to continuing our services but find it necessary to make some changes. Effective Monday, August 30:
  • All newsletters will be sent in HTML only.
  • Site of the Day, Recipes, CyberSmiles and Proverbs Plus will be combined into a single DailyInbox Presents newsletter. All weekend only deliveries of these services will be eliminated.
  • Chicken Soup, Heloise's Hints, Bible Versus and America In Uniform will remain the same, but weekend only editions will be eliminated. Additionally, these subscribers will be given the opportunity to receive the new DailyInbox Presents.
  • Messages from the Masters, Quotes from the Masters and Bits & Pieces will be combined into a single From the Masters newsletter.  Weekend only editions will be eliminated. Additionally, these subscribers will be given the opportunity to receive the new DailyInbox Presents.
  • Trivia will be transferred to Coachville in mid-September and you may expect delivery from them in the future.  In the meantime, Trivia subscribers will receive the new DailyInbox Presents newsletter.
  • Daily Reflections will be eliminated and its subscribers transferred to the new DailyInbox Presents newsletter.
We believe these changes will allow us to continue as your Internet source for wholesome, educational and inspirational newsletters. Thank you again for your patronage in the past and your support during this transition period.

Regards,
The DailyInbox Team

PURPOSE

"How different our lives are when we really know what is deeply important to us, and keeping that picture in mind, we manage ourselves each day to be and to do what really matters most." -– Stephen Covey

"You are only as strong as your purpose, therefore let us choose reasons to act that are big bold righteous and eternal." -– Barry Munro

"The single common denominator of men and women who achieve great things is a sense of destiny." -– Brian Tracy

"Every living creature that comes into the world has something allotted him to perform; therefore, he should not stand an idle spectator of what others are doing." -– Sarah Kirby Trimmer

REFERABILITY

"One front-line person can speak volumes for a multi-billion dollar company by creating an experience worth talking about. Certainly more powerful than a bunch of rhetorical ads on TV, most of which are so plastic they should be accompanied by vomit bags." -– Jeffrey Gitomer

"Most of your buyers know people who would be interested in buying whatever they bought. Your job is to help them come up with those names. Do you have your referral-getting questions memorized?" -– Tom Hopkins

"Don't concentrate on making a lot of money, but rather on becoming the type of person people want to do business with." -– Patricia Fripp

"Profit in business comes from repeat customers, customers that boast about your project or service, and that bring friends with them." -– W. Edwards Deming

PROCRASTINATION

"When we dread doing something, it's usually easier - for the moment - to come up with an excuse. Unfortunately, most of us find the dread to be counterproductive because the longer we dread the task, the worse it seems." -– Nido Qubein

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." -– Anne Frank

"One of the greatest labor-saving inventions of today is tomorrow." -– Vincent T. Foss

"Anyone can do any amount of work, provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at that moment." -– Robert Benchley

PRODUCTIVITY

"The more you take on, the more efficient you become. You only learn how much you can actually do by trying to do too much." -– Brian Tracy

"I make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes." -– Sara Teasdale

"You can always find reasons to work. There will always be one more thing to do. But when people don't take time out, they stop being productive. They stop being happy, and that affects the morale of everyone around them." -– Carisa Bianchi

"Productivity is determined not by work...but by EFFECTIVE actions disguised as work." -– Doug Firebaugh

REPUTATION

"You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time." -– Abraham Lincoln

"You can't build a reputation on what you're going to do." -– Henry Ford

"Take a page from the Ritz Carlton Hotels - when someone asks directions in the hotel, the employee takes them there. This has limitations - (I would always be asking how to get to Hawaii), but it also has MAJOR IMPACT on the awareness of the customer that they are someplace special." -– Jeffrey Gitomer

"My preferred person today is one who is always aware of the needs of others, or their pain and fear and unhappiness, and their search for self-respect. I once liked clever people. Now I like good people." -– Solomon Freehof
