American Standard Version And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit.

King James Version And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

New American Standard And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.

New International Version Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
