Are you tired of repeating yourself over and over to your kids?

Well try this. Step one: stand or sit at eye-level with your child, then start talking. If he looks away, start over. Step two -- echo. Let your child repeat what you've said, so you know he got the message. It goes like this, get at their eye level and say, "Billy, please clean your room." "Yes, daddy," he says. Now here's where the echo comes in. "So what are you going to do Billy?" "I'm going to clean my room, Dad." Eye-level, and echo. A two-step communication plan that really works.

Remember, your family first.
